Bring your income, savings and spending into one retirement projection, for you or a couple. Compare a retirement age or spending change. See yearly spending, income tax, savings and cash, then keep an input file to use again.
You opened a made-up example: Can I retire at 63 instead of 65? Review the inputs and assumptions before calculating. Back to the guide
Example amounts are filled in. Replace them with yours.
Spending is in 2026 dollars, excluding savings contributions. All amounts are Canadian dollars.

Constant annual returns are assumptions, not forecasts. Cash earns 2%. Invested accounts use 40% fixed income and 60% equity for tax treatment. This first projection includes income, pensions, tax and registered or non-registered savings, with the final year and ages shown in the results. It excludes property, debts, corporations, children, LIRA/LIF and planned extra contributions. GIS, Allowance and refundable benefit payments (including Ontario GAINS and Trillium) are not included. Missing benefits can make a projected shortfall look larger; review eligibility and payment history before changing spending. OAS entitlement and CPP/QPP estimates need to be checked against your records.
Your inputs are sent securely for calculation. A device draft is saved only when you choose Save.
